Woman Dies After Clothes Catch Fire From Gas Stove In Gomel

A woman born in 1939 has died following a fire that occurred on October 11 in an apartment on Mazurova Street in Gomel. Her clothes caught fire from a gas stove, and she was hospitalized with burns. The hospital reported her death yesterday morning.

The cause of the fire was a violation of gas appliance operation rules, the Belarusian Emergency Ministry said.
