Wildberries’ press service commented on the decision by Belarus’s Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade to recognise the marketplace as a dominant market participant. According to company representatives, the decision will not affect its operations in any way, writes TASS.
“We have always operated in strict compliance with Belarusian legislation and will continue to do so. This decision will not affect Wildberries’ operations in any way because we have never had inflated or unjustified tariffs before,” the press service said.
“The fact that the marketplace has officially been recognised as one of the dominant players only confirms what we see every day: a huge number of Belarusians choose us, both among entrepreneurs and buyers. People want to work with us, they want to buy from us, and for our part we provide truly beneficial and technologically advanced conditions for this”, the company added.
It should be recalled that the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade recognised Wildberries, Ozon and Belpochta as dominant participants in two markets. Under the ministry’s decision, the tariffs of such companies must be economically justified.
