The Telegram channel OtVinta | Aviation of Belarus has published a video showing the destruction of a drone that entered Belarusian territory. According to the channel, the footage was sent by a subscriber, who said it was recorded in the Homiel region on February 26.
In the video, a drone visually and audibly resembling a Gerbera-type decoy UAV is hit by small-arms fire — presumably by a mobile fire group, the accompanying comment says.
According to the outlet Flagstok, at least five Russian Shahed-type drones (Geran) flew over Homiel that day, one of which fell near the village of Randouka.
“It is noteworthy that a pro-government aviation Telegram channel did not hesitate to publish a video of the military at work ‘from a subscriber.’ The publication was likely approved, since otherwise it could have fallen under several new criminal articles,” Flagstok wrote.
