An upgraded border outpost complex, Rosa Luxemburg, has opened on the Belarus–Ukraine frontier in the Yelsk District, the State Border Committee reported.
The outpost began operating in 2014. Until reconstruction work started in April 2024, border guards had been stationed in a converted school building.
The outpost is responsible for a stretch of more than 25 km along the border with Ukraine. This year, border guards have detained 10 border violators.
