A Georgian citizen detained on suspicion of murdering artist Semyon Skrepetsky in Biała Podlaska has been charged with another murder committed in Poland. RMF FM reports.

When Elnur M. was detained, reports had already emerged about his possible links to the criminal underworld and possible involvement in other crimes.

The killing took place in March 2022 at a hostel on Krochmalna Street in Warsaw. Two assailants, who knew the code for entering the building, broke into the room of Isa Kh. and stabbed him several times. The victim was a Georgian citizen. A possible motive for the crime may have been a contract killing or a criminal dispute.

One of the attackers, Ramis A., was detained three years ago and is now serving a 12-year sentence for murder. The second suspect remained at large until Elnur M. was detained. Investigators recently conducted investigative procedures involving him at the site of the killing three years ago. The man denies committing the crime.

RMF FM learned unofficially that he may be a member of a Georgian group of contract killers that carries out assignments across Europe.

Russian artist Semyon Skrepetsky, known for his caricatures of Putin, Lukashenka and Kadyrov, was killed in June. Two Belarusian citizens, aged 33 and 37, were detained as part of the investigation. However, investigators determined that they had no connection to the crime.
