A fire broke out at the seaport of Primorsk in Russia’s Leningrad region following an attack by Ukrainian drones, regional governor Aleksandr Drozdenko said on his Telegram channel.
“Last night, the Leningrad region repelled a massive attack, with more than 60 enemy UAVs shot down. The main target of the attack was the seaport of Primorsk. As a result of repelling the attack, a fire broke out in Primorsk; at present, the consequences of the fire have been eliminated. No oil spill has been recorded”, he wrote.
Flight restrictions were introduced at local airports, including Pulkovo and Pskov airports. More than 70 flights were cancelled. By 08:00 local time, the restrictions had been lifted, according to the press service of Pulkovo Airport.
