Ukrainian border guards have released footage showing the destruction of a Russian Shahed-type drone in Chernihiv Region near the border with Belarus.
The drone was shot down on June 4. It was the 500th Russian drone destroyed since the beginning of the year by personnel of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine’s 105th Border Guard Detachment.
“Russian occupation forces continue to employ a tactic of aerial terror, directing Shahed and Gerbera attack drones along the Ukrainian-Belarusian border to strike targets on Ukrainian territory, including the country’s western regions.
As a result, border guards in Chernihiv Region are involved in countering hostile aerial targets virtually every day and every night,” the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine said.
