The Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has published a list of events that Belarusians around the world are organizing to mark the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
The traditional “Charnobylski Shliakh” march will take place in Warsaw on April 26 this year. Belarusians will gather in the center of the Polish capital near the Copernicus Monument at 14:00.
In Vilnius, a rally and concert will be held on April 26 at Vincas Kudirka Square. The event will begin at 13:00.
In Białystok, the “Charnobylski Shliakh” march will also take place on April 26. It will start at the Free Belarus Square at 17:00.
The list of events also includes numerous meetings, charity events, presentations, and discussions. They will take place not only in Warsaw and Vilnius, but also in Zurich, Copenhagen, New York, and Prague.
