Tsikhanouskaya Meets Pashinyan In Paris

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, during her visit to Paris to attend the Peace Summit, met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

According to Tsikhanouskaya’s Office, she thanked him for inviting her to the session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, which she was unable to attend.

Tsikhanouskaya also expressed a desire to visit Armenia in the future. She voiced her support for Armenia’s efforts to move closer to the European Union and noted that Belarusians stand in solidarity with the Armenian people.

A delegation of Belarusian democratic forces took part in the Euronest session. The assembly has launched a process to grant observer status to the Belarusian democratic forces. For now, they participated as guests.

Earlier, it was reported that Tsikhanouskaya’s planned visit to Armenia had been cancelled due to changes in her security arrangements, a decision made by the Lithuanian government.
