Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, head of the United Transitional Cabinet, commented on Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s visit to Myanmar, which concluded the day before. She urged increased support for Belarusian democratic forces and Myanmar’s National Unity Government.
“Lukashenka’s visit to Myanmar is not diplomacy — it’s a meeting of two isolated dictators propped up by Putin. Both regimes survive on violence, fear, and lies. They do not represent Belarus or Myanmar.
While tyrants help each other with money, weapons, and technology, the democratic world must step up its support for the Belarusian democratic forces and Myanmar’s NUG. Belarus and Myanmar stand together — united against dictatorship,” she wrote on X.
