Belarus’s Ministry of Information has updated its list of so-called “extremist materials.”
The new additions include:
- Telegram channels “Kamanda Latushki i Rukh ‘Za Svabodu’” and “Belarusy DMV”;
- The Facebook page of “Tavarystva Belaruskai Kultury ŭ Litve” (Society of Belarusian Culture in Lithuania);
- Instagram pages “Moladzewy Nastup” and “dzgolubeu”;
- A sticker pack titled “lukashenko_za**l.”*
Belarusian authorities routinely use “extremism” charges as a tool to silence political opponents and suppress dissent.
