Smugglers Lose Drone on Lithuanian Border

Lithuanian border guards intercepted a smugglers’ drone that had delivered cigarettes from Belarus.

According to the State Border Guard Service, the UAV was brought down near the Padvarionys border post. The quadcopter was carrying 750 packs of NZ Gold cigarettes with Belarusian excise stamps. The value of the cargo was estimated at 4,035 euros.

Since the beginning of the year, Lithuanian border guards have intercepted 12 drones carrying cigarettes.
