Belarus and Russia have discussed measures aimed at maintaining a stable situation on the agricultural market of the two countries. According to the government press service, a meeting took place at the level of deputy prime ministers Yury Shuleika and Dmitry Patrushev.
The meeting was devoted to cooperation in the agro-industrial sector. It was noted that, in order to maintain market stability, the countries annually approve forecast balances of supply and demand for a number of agricultural products.
Patrushev’s office also reported that, according to preliminary estimates, trade turnover of agro-industrial products between the two countries increased by almost a quarter last year.
