Activist Nina Bahinskaya was detained in Minsk, Belsat reports.
Security officers stopped Bahinskaya on the street and searched her personal belongings without explanation. They took a book from the activist’s bag, eyewitnesses told the outlet.
Bahinskaya was not taken to a police station, but the officers refused to return the book.
Nina Bahinskaya has been detained several times for using national symbols. In 2025, she was tried on a criminal charge of repeatedly violating the rules for holding mass events (Article 342-2 of the Criminal Code). The court exempted Bahinskaya from punishment under the criminal charge but placed her under preventive supervision.
