The Finance Ministry held an auction on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange to place the 409th issue of government bonds. The bonds are denominated in Belarusian rubles.
Bids totalling 50 million rubles were submitted by three participants at the auction. Ultimately, bids worth 10 million rubles were accepted, while the total issue volume stands at 70 million rubles.
Following the auction, the interest rate on the 409th bond issue was set at 9% per annum.
The remaining bonds will now be placed in the BCSE system for additional placement, which will begin on July 17.
The nominal value of each bond is 1,000 rubles, and the bonds are due to mature on July 14, 2028.
Two US dollar-denominated Finance Ministry bond issues also remain available for additional placement in the BCSE system. The remaining volume of the 357th issue stands at $9,000, while that of the 362nd issue is $2.2 million.
