Russian caricaturist Semyon Skrepetsky (real name — Robert Kuzovkov), who was known for his caricatures of political leaders including Vladimir Putin, Ramzan Kadyrov and Alexei Navalny, was killed in the Polish city of Biała Podlaska. The artist staged decolonial protest actions in various cities across Europe.

At one point, he supported the Belarusian protests. The publication Nasha Niva has compiled a selection of his caricatures of Lukashenka.

According to local police, 44-year-old caricaturist Semyon Skrepetsky was killed by several gunshots. It recently became known that Polish law enforcement authorities had detained two Belarusian citizens as part of the murder investigation.
