The investigative team that examined the site where a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile crashed and exploded in Poland’s Lublin Voivodeship has released new information about the incident.
According to Marcin Kozak, spokesperson for the Lublin Prosecutor’s Office, the missile was manufactured in the second quarter of 2026 at a factory in Russia’s Moscow region.
A Ukrainian expert participated in the examination of the wreckage and confirmed that it was a Kh-101 cruise missile. Investigators recovered the missile’s engine and electronic components at the crash site.
