After a brief thaw, pressure on political prisoners has resumed at Ivatsevichy Penal Colony No. 22, the Viasna Human Rights Center reports.
According to rights defenders, political prisoners have begun to receive violations on contrived grounds, are being assigned the status of “persistent violators,” and are being sent to punishment cells.
According to Viasna, at least 59 political prisoners are serving their sentences in the “Wolf Holes.”
