The website of Belarusian Radio Racyja has been hacked. Attackers embedded a phishing page into the Belarusian-language version of the site racyja.com, while the English and Polish versions remain unaffected, the Belarusian Association of Journalists reported.
“Dear friends, due to hacker attacks and related technical problems, our website is intermittently unavailable. Please follow the news on our social media for now,” said Yauhen Vapa, head of the radio station.
Problems accessing the site began on the morning of March 18. Initially, users were unable to open the site, and later they were redirected to what appeared to be a Cloudflare verification page — but not a standard one, featuring unusual prompts such as opening a terminal or inserting code.
A technical security specialist from the Belarusian Association of Journalists explained that scripts had been embedded into the site’s HTML code to replace the real Cloudflare check with a fake one. The attack is targeting users on Windows computers.
