Profit of Belarusian Enterprises Declined Over Two Months

Belstat has published data on the financial results of organizations for January-February 2026. While net profit of enterprises included in the report rose sharply in January alone, over the first two months of the year it declined.

Belstat’s оперативный report does not include banks, non-bank financial institutions, insurance companies, budget organizations and organizations without ведомственная reporting with fewer than 50 employees.

In January-February, organizations’ revenue increased by 3.3% to nearly 85 billion rubles. In February alone, revenue amounted to 42.5 billion rubles, almost the same as in January.

The cost of goods sold increased by 2.8% to 70.4 billion rubles.

Net profit fell by 6.7% to 2.78 billion rubles. In February alone, it amounted to just over 1 billion rubles.

Sales profitability stood at 6%, which was 0.1 percentage points lower than in January-February 2025.

A total of 2,664 organizations were unprofitable in January-February, which is 29.5% more than in the same period last year.

Accounts receivable amounted to 103.1 billion rubles as of March 1. In February, they increased by 2.5 billion rubles, but since the beginning of the year they have decreased by 2.4%.

Accounts payable increased by 5 billion rubles in February to 121 billion rubles, although they remain 2.3% lower than at the beginning of the year.

Debt on loans and borrowings increased by 0.6% since the beginning of the year to 142.94 billion rubles.
