Pope Leo XIV received the Apostolic Nuncio to Belarus Ignazio Ceffalia on Monday.
According to the Vatican press service, the meeting focused on the life of the Catholic community in Belarus. No further details were disclosed.
Such audiences are part of regular dialogue between the Pope and his representatives around the world.
Archbishop Ceffalia has served as nuncio to Belarus since the spring of last year. He was appointed in March and presented copies of his credentials to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry in the summer.
