Polish Border Guards Report Only 10 Illegal Crossing Attempts on Wednesday

Poland’s Border Guard reported just 10 attempts by migrants to cross the border illegally from Belarus on Wednesday, October 29. The day before, on October 28, 50 attempts had been recorded.

Until Wednesday, the lowest number of attempts in recent months — 17 — had been registered the previous Thursday. From Friday to Monday, the number of attempts ranged between 20 and 30.

Lithuanian border guards reported nine attempts on Wednesday, while Latvian authorities recorded 36 cases.
