Platforms Flooded at Minsk Bus Station After Pipe Burst

Platforms at Minsk’s Central Bus Station were flooded after a pipeline was damaged. The cause was said to be scheduled testing and cleaning of the stormwater drainage system in the car park of the Galileo shopping centre, whose utilities run above the bus station platforms. The pipe failed to withstand the high pressure.

The leak has now been fixed, and bus station staff have cleaned the terminal, the administration of Minsk’s Kastrychnitski District said.
