The Pinsk District and City Court considered a criminal case against Dzianis Dzienisenka under special proceedings. He was charged under Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code for mass riots.
According to the Viasna Human Rights Centre, the court found Dzienisenka guilty in absentia in December last year. He was sentenced to four years of imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony.
On February 20, the Brest Regional Court rejected the appeal in the case and upheld the sentence.
