A nonstop night Lastochka train will begin operating between Minsk and Moscow. Belarus’s Ambassador to Russia Aliaksandr Rahozhnik said this in an interview with Sb.by.
He recalled that additional trains of this type have been added recently. Thus, since December 15, another frequency has been introduced: a 10-car train has begun running between Minsk and Moscow. New agreements have also been reached.
“In addition, I will reveal a small secret: another agreement has been reached with Russian Railways — to launch nonstop night Lastochka trains. In this way, we will not only reduce travel time, but also additionally solve the problem of the shortage of tickets,” he said.
Rahozhnik did not specify when these trains will appear in the timetable.
