In Baranavichy, a newborn baby of an 18-year-old woman was found dead in a bag. Investigators are establishing the circumstances.
On April 20, an 18-year-old woman was admitted to a hospital in Baranavichy showing signs of having recently given birth. Police officers went to her place of residence and found the body of a newborn with injuries inside a bag.
Investigators conducted an inspection of the scene and questioned witnesses. A number of forensic examinations have been ordered to determine the exact cause of the child’s death.
Authorities are establishing the circumstances of the incident, reconstructing the sequence of events, the conditions in which the young woman was living, as well as the factors that contributed to the tragedy, the Investigative Committee reported.
