The Investigative Committee’s department for the Viciebsk Region has opened a criminal case on charges of murder following the discovery of a woman’s body in a forest area of the Lepel District on April 17. According to preliminary information, the death is believed to be of a criminal nature.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been established. Her estimated age is between 18 and 40, and her height is about 170 cm. An investigative team worked at the scene, and items and objects relevant to the investigation were seized. A number of forensic examinations have been назначен.
