More than 16,000 students in Belarus participate in the activities of about 1,200 military-patriotic groups. This was reported by the director of the Republican Centre for Ecology and Local Studies Alyena Anufrovich, BelTA wrote.
According to her, in recent times military-patriotic education of young people has received “a new stage of development, including through a revision of forms, methods and directions”.
“In addition, security agencies have joined the effort. The education system has introduced supervisors for military-patriotic education, the number of military-patriotic clubs is increasing, and the areas of work and the content of activities are being revised. At present, the education system has about 1.2 thousand military-patriotic groups attended by more than 16 thousand students,” she said.
