A mass fish die-off has been recorded in the Bokhanava ponds in Luninets. The Luninets District Inspectorate for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection was informed about it.
On March 16, employees of the inspectorate and other relevant services inspected the pond shoreline. No potential sources of pollution of the water body were identified, the Ministry of Natural Resources said.
A water sample was taken from the ponds. Public utilities workers collected the dead fish for disposal.
