A ceremonial opening of the mission of the Belarusian democratic forces in Ukraine took place in Kyiv, the press service of the United Transitional Cabinet reported. The event was attended by head of the UTC Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and other representatives of the Cabinet, the Office, and the Coordination Council.
Representing the Ukrainian side at the ceremony were Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis and other officials.
During the ceremony, Tsikhanouskaya presented UTC awards to two members of the Verkhovna Rada — members of the inter-factional association “For a Democratic Belarus,” Vadym Halaichuk and Ihor Huz.
