Minskenergo Warns of Temperature Drop in Five Districts of Minsk Due to Heating Main Accident

A section of heating main No. 41 has been damaged in Minsk, Minskenergo said.

As a result of the accident, a drop in the temperature of the heat carrier has been recorded for some consumers in the Frunzensky, Moskovsky, Tsentralny, Sovetsky and Oktyabrsky districts of the capital.

“At present, specialists are working оперативно to determine the causes of the damage. Restoration work is under way to re-establish the temperature and hydraulic operating regime of the heat supply system. Specialists are doing everything possible to eliminate the consequences as quickly as possible and normalise hot water supply parameters,” Minskenergo said.
