From July 1, Minsk National Airport is launching a pilot self-service check-in and bag drop system. At the initial stage, the service is available only for Aeroflot flights.

The system includes one self-service check-in kiosk and two self-service bag drop kiosks located in the departure area on the third floor near entrances 3 and 4, next to check-in counters No. 33 and 34. Passengers can check in for their flight up to 24 hours before departure and drop off their baggage up to two hours before departure.

The self-service check-in kiosk offers three options: check-in for passengers who have not completed online check-in, baggage registration, and printing a boarding pass for those who have already checked in online. If the system determines that a passenger’s documents require additional verification, the passenger will be directed to a staffed check-in counter.

To use the self-service bag drop, passengers must weigh their suitcase, confirm that it does not contain dangerous goods, receive a baggage tag and attach it to the luggage. They must then place the suitcase on the conveyor belt at the kiosk, scan the baggage tag and send the luggage for processing. Oversized baggage cannot be accepted through the self-service system.
