Military Builds Pontoon Bridge Across Dzvina River

In Beshankovichy, servicemen from the 30th Separate Railway Brigade have connected the two banks of the Western Dzvina River. The bridge will shorten the distance between Beshankovichy and the neighbouring Shumilina District.

The bridge is 150 metres long. In summer, it will be able to handle traffic of around 120 vehicles per day. The crossing will remain in operation until winter.

Throughout the entire period, maintenance and traffic regulation on the bridge will be carried out by servicemen from the brigade, the Defence Ministry said.
