The median salary in Belarus in November 2025 amounted to 2,081.7 roubles. Compared with May of the previous year, it increased by 67.7 roubles. The figure refers to accrued salary, that is, before income tax.
Over the year, compared with November 2024, the indicator rose by 289.5 roubles.
The median salary is an indicator that divides all wages into two equal parts: half of employees receive more than the median, and the other half receive less. It reflects the earnings situation more accurately than the average salary.
Belstat calculates the median salary only twice a year: for May and November. The data are presented for legal entities of all forms of ownership, except for legal entities without departmental subordination with an average staff size of fewer than 50 people in the previous year (excluding members of holdings). For comparison, in November 2025 the average nominal accrued salary amounted to 2,703.7 roubles.
