MAZ Truck Sales in Russia Continue to Decline in January

MAZ reduced truck sales on the Russian market in January 2026. According to ASM-Holding, 192 trucks were sold in January this year, which is 29.9 percent fewer than a year earlier.

The Russian truck market as a whole also declined in the first month of the year. It fell by 43.7 percent to 3,241 units. The market leader remains KamAZ, whose sales decreased by 29.1 percent.

In January, MAZ also sold 21 buses in Russia compared with 4 a year earlier. The Russian bus market also contracted in the first month of the year, declining by 10.4 percent to 568 units. The market is led by PAZ, which sold 140 vehicles, although this was 56.9 percent fewer than a year earlier.
