Alyaksandr Lukashenka has concluded his visit to Myanmar. It began yesterday evening Minsk time and ended today in the first half of the day.

Lukashenka arrived in Myanmar from Kyrgyzstan, where he had participated in the CSTO summit.

Today he held talks with Acting President and Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council Min Aung Hlaing. The press service provided only brief reports on Lukashenka’s statements. The parties signed a cooperation plan for 2026–28, as well as a number of agreements, including a mutual visa waiver.

After the talks, Lukashenka and Min Aung Hlaing visited the National Botanical Garden, where they planted a kanko tree, and afterward Lukashenka was shown the Buddha Maravijaya temple complex.

The press service also repeatedly emphasized the ceremonial splendor of the honor guards accompanying the events.

On the eve of the visit, a business forum took place in Myanmar, after which the Foreign Ministry reported contracts totaling only 9 million dollars.

From Myanmar, Lukashenka departed for Oman, where he plans to hold talks with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said. According to the press service, the meeting will include a substantive discussion of practical steps to advance previously reached agreements and implement joint projects in various fields.
