On 25 November, Alyaksandr Lukashenka signed decrees approving three draft intergovernmental agreements between Belarus and Myanmar as the basis for negotiations.

The draft agreement on mutual visa abolition provides that Belarusian citizens may enter, exit, and transit through Myanmar without visas, provided their stay does not exceed 30 days from the date of entry (up to 90 days within a calendar year), according to Lukashenka’s press service.

The draft agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters sets out the procedure for interaction between the customs authorities of the two countries.

A draft international treaty on eliminating double taxation on income taxes and preventing tax avoidance and evasion was also approved. The document establishes taxation procedures and the exchange of information between the competent authorities of both states to eliminate double taxation of income earned by tax residents of Belarus and Myanmar.
