Latushka: The Only Scenario for Lukashenka’s Inner Circle Is a Round Table

Deputy head of Belarus’s United Transitional Cabinet and head of the National Anti-Crisis Management, Pavel Latushka, has once again urged Belarusian officials to find a way out of the political crisis in Belarus through dialogue and a round table. He was reacting to the capture of Nicolás Maduro by U.S. special forces.

“When there is no dialogue with society and no support from the people, the end of power is always unexpected and harsh.

The only scenario for Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s inner circle is to do everything necessary already now to bring about change in Belarus by peaceful means — a round table.

Time is working against the dictatorship,” Latushka said.
