Officers of the Ivatsevichy District Department of Internal Affairs detained a 37-year-old local resident involved in the illegal circulation of alcohol, the Interior Ministry press service reported.
In an outbuilding on his property, more than 560 litres of alcohol-containing liquid were discovered, along with over 500 polymer caps for containers, six packs of labels for various alcohol brands, and 18 litres of flavourings. The man said he had purchased the goods from an unknown individual on a highway for further resale.
Administrative proceedings have been initiated against him. The offender faces a fine of more than 4,000 rubles and confiscation of the goods.
