Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi described his meeting with Alyaksandr Lukashenka today as productive.

“Bilateral cooperation between our countries is developing very productively. From a political standpoint, very constructive interaction has been established. The countries cooperate on all issues in the international arena, and political consultations are taking place,” he said, as reported by BelTA.

Araghchi noted that there are significant developments in economic cooperation.

“Of course, one can say that it is developing insufficiently. But there are good achievements in the investment sphere and in joint production. Iran purchases fertilizers from Belarus. Today, very important decisions were made in all areas without exception,” he added.

According to him, the head of the Belarusian Ministry of Transport is expected to visit Iran in the near future to reach concrete agreements in the transport and logistics sector. At the level of the foreign ministries, a cooperation program for 2026–2030 is also planned to be adopted.
