Industrial Production Decreases by 1.8% in 2025

Industrial output in 2025 totalled 208 billion roubles. It decreased by 1.8% compared with 2024, Belstat reported. In December, industrial growth continued to slow. After 11 months, industrial production had declined by 1.7%.

  • Individual sectors showed mixed dynamics:
  • mining industry +2.7%,
  • manufacturing industry -2.5%,
  • supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning +1.7%,
  • water supply; waste collection, treatment and disposal; pollution remediation — unchanged.

In regional terms, the highest growth was recorded in Hrodna Region (+1.1%). In Minsk and Vitsyebsk Region, production volume decreased by 4%.
