“Belarusian Hajun” is an OSINT monitoring project tracking the military activities of Russian and Belarusian forces. The monitoring group was created shortly before the start of the Russian–Ukrainian war by activist Anton Matolka. In early February 2025, law enforcement gained access to the project’s bot chat, after which the project announced it was ceasing operations.
Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently commented on the arrests in the “Hajun case,” stating that Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s regime is creating an “exchange fund” of detainees.
