The House of Representatives today ratified an agreement between Belarus and the United Arab Emirates on trade in services and the implementation of investments.
The agreement creates a free trade zone for services between the two countries. It is also intended to establish a transparent and favourable market access regime and to expand investment cooperation.
Signed in June this year, the agreement also provides for the creation of an investment subcommittee. The parties commit to granting business entities access to service markets in more than 100 sectors, including finance, construction, business services, transport and others.
