A group of 18 people gathered for a picnic in a park in Minsk. However, the outing ended at the Pershamaiski District Police Department. The human rights center Viasna drew attention to the account posted by a Threads user.
According to the post, the group had gathered for a picnic. The gathering was interrupted by police officers, who eventually took everyone to the district police department, where their mobile phones were inspected. They were also made to sign a document without being allowed to read it.
The detainees were held at the police department for two and a half hours.
