Aliaksandr Lukashenka has today appointed Tacciana Kharlap as head of the state institution “Administration of the China–Belarus Industrial Park ‘Great Stone.’” She takes up the post from the position of Belarus’s Consul General in Hong Kong.
The position of head of the Great Stone administration had remained vacant since June last year. At that time, Aliaksandr Yaroshenka, who had headed the administration for many years, was transferred to work in the Standing Committee of the Union State, where he became Deputy State Secretary.
Lukashenka also approved a number of appointments at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and at Belstat.
Vital Kulak will take the post of First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food. He had previously served as a deputy minister in the same ministry.
The post of Deputy Minister will be filled by Ihar Darafiejčyk, who until now was Deputy Director of the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
Alla Bilenka has been appointed Deputy Chair of the National Statistical Committee. Previously, she headed the Main Directorate for Coordination and Development of the Statistical System in this agency.
