Graduates of Klimavichy Agricultural College Ordered to Repay More Than 120,000 Rubles for Failing to Complete Mandatory Job Placement

Since the beginning of 2026, the prosecutor’s office of the Klimavichy district has filed seven lawsuits against graduates of the Klimavichy Agricultural College who studied on state-funded places but failed to complete their mandatory job placements. More than 120,000 rubles has been recovered from the graduates.

As the prosecutor’s office notes, one of the reasons graduates fail to complete the mandatory work period is dismissal for absenteeism.

For example, in 2025, a resident of Mahiliou graduated from the college with qualifications as a fourth-grade cook and fourth-grade salesperson. Under the placement system, he was assigned to work at the Kupalinka school catering plant. The young man started working there, but after some time he was dismissed for absenteeism. By court decision, more than 18,000 rubles was recovered from the graduate.
