Officers combating economic crimes in the Homiel region, together with colleagues from the State Control Committee, have uncovered a fraud scheme.
A 52-year-old entrepreneur worked with a large agrochemical enterprise under a contract and was responsible for loading fertilizers for agricultural organizations. However, instead of actually performing the work, he entered knowingly false information into waybills regarding the start and end times of loading, receiving full payment.
A criminal case has been opened on charges of fraud, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
