Dollar Rises by 4 Kopecks in the First Trading Session of 2026

Trading on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange on the first working day of 2026 ended with gains for the US dollar and the Chinese yuan. The Russian ruble weakened. There were no trades in the euro.

The US dollar rose by 1.44 percent, or 4.17 kopecks, to 2.9444 Belarusian rubles.

The Russian ruble fell by 0.9 percent, or 3.33 kopecks. One hundred Russian rubles were valued at 3.6725 Belarusian rubles.

The Chinese yuan gained 1.42 percent, or 5.88 kopecks. Ten yuan were traded at 4.2004 Belarusian rubles.
