A second-year student at the State Academy of Veterinary Medicine in Viciebsk was deported for drunk driving. A demonstration hearing was held on the university’s premises.
In November 2025, the student consumed alcohol and decided to drive to buy more using a car-sharing vehicle. He was stopped on the way by traffic police officers. A breathalyzer test showed a blood alcohol level of 1.86 per mille, the Viciebsk Regional Police Department said.
The Azerbaijani citizen was stripped of his driving license and fined 8,400 rubles. A decision was also taken to deport him and ban his entry into Belarus for five years.
