A new Belarusian book space — a bookstore created in partnership with the Communicat Foundation, one of the key independent publishing and cultural projects dedicated to preserving and promoting Belarusian literature — will open at the Belarusian Solidarity Centre.
The opening will take place on April 29 at 17:30. Guests of the event will include writer Uladzimir Arlou, founder of the Communicat Foundation Yaraslau Ivaniuk, as well as representatives of other publishing houses.
On the opening evening, visitors can expect:
- meetings with authors, publishers and representatives of independent publishing houses;
- discussions about Belarusian literature, book culture and contemporary texts;
- an opportunity to meet those who create and publish Belarusian books.
“Names of Freedom” by Uladzimir Arlou, “Zekameron” by Maksim Znak, “Liquidation” by Vasil Bykau — these and many other books will soon be available for purchase in Warsaw at the Belarusian Solidarity Centre.
Opening: April 29 at 17:30
Admission is free.
